THAILAND SHARES REOPENING STRATEGIES WITH INDIAN MEDIA IN DELHI

Tourism Authority of Thailand organized a media briefing bringing together all major stakeholders of Thailand Tourism Industry in a specially arranged event in Delhi. The event was organized at Royal Thai Embassy in Delhi on 11th March 2022.

The event was attended by all prominent media houses from India. “Welcome Back to Thailand with Amazing New Chapters” had it all for travelers planning a visit to Kingdom soon. Thai Airways, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Hotel Association, Association of Thai Travel Agents and TCEB updated the audience on the reopening measures, step by step process and what one could expect in post covid era while in Thailand.

H.E Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India shared the overall outlook and current situation to all the attendees. Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor for Asia & South Pacific region, Tourism Authority of Thailand unveiled the New marketing campaign of Thailand “Amazing New Chapters”. TAT New Delhi Director Mr. Vachirachai Sirisumpan shared various initiatives taken by Tourism Authority of Thailand in India market and also touched upon key steps which are of extreme prominence from a travelers perspective. Presentation from TCEB (Meetings & Incentives Department) India Rep. Mr. Nitin, focused on the Thailand preparedness to welcome M&I groups back.

Post event all attendees were presented an experience of tasting the world renowned Thai Street Food in a live counter set up. An amazing way to end the event evening at Embassy Lawns.
