TAAI facilitated MSME Schemes Web Workshop for Northern Region (NR) Members in collaboration with MSME Development Institute (DI), Ludhiana

Under the astute leadership of Mrs. Jyoti Mayal, President, and Office Bearers of TAAI, a web workshop, in collaboration with the MSME Development Institute (DI), Ludhiana, to educate and update Members about various schemes of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise, was organized by the TAAI (NR).

The workshop is a part of the series initiated by TAAI at pan-India level to educate its members about the benefits and reliefs extended by the Ministry of MSME.

Initiating the discussions, Mr. Neeraj Malhotra, Chairman, TAAI (NR) delivered introductory remarks and briefed the participants about this unique initiative. He conveyed that how TAAI at the Regional level is working wholeheartedly for the Members to survive during these crucial times.

Mr. Kulvinder Singh Kohli, Managing Committee Member, TAAI welcomed and thanked Mr. Virendra Sharma, Director, MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana for so graciously accepting the request to address the Members.

While mentioning the role of MSME DI Offices in facilitating businesses, Dr. Himanshu Talwar, Executive Director, TAAI introduced the dynamic officer present to grace the occasion. During the presentation, Mr. Sharma and his team shared various schemes and initiatives of MSME and explained how it can benefit businesses at large.

He specifically mentioned the schemes utilising which members may attend exhibitions and trade fairs in different parts of India. He highlighted that registration is Free-of-cost, and registration might be of benefits to members looking at availing benefits extended by the MSME Ministry through different schemes in the years to come.

Mr. Neeraj Malhotra proposed a Vote of Thanks on the occasion, and also requested to schedule another workshop specifically focussing on the Services sector.
