Air India has shared on social media lately, for all passengers booking Vande Bharat Mission flights through any Travel Agent shall not pay more than fare mentioned on AI website.
Travel Agents Association of India has released a statement showing disagreement to the statement of Air India. Moreover, National Carrier has allowed ticketing through travel agents on selected flights under Vande Bharat Mission. Other inventories have been blocked on the system. So TAAI, has requested MOCA and Air India to allow travel agents to sell all sectors being operated by Air India.
Apart TAAI has also requested Air India to take back its statement from social media, where the airline has asked travelers to report any issues of overcharging of fares for flights under VBM. TAAI considers such statements as inappropriate.
“We are exasperated and dejected on this attitude from the National Carrier- Air India – who has created this mistrust and wrong perception amongst the travelers/customers” TAAT Letter states
